Phillip Nathanial Stallings (Nat) departed this life at his home on Thursday June 14th 2012 @ 11:37 pm. He was born on September 6, 1955 to the late Charles Sr. & June Stallings.

Nat was educated in the Maryland Public School System.  In 1973, he joined the United States Marines Corps, and obtained his GED a year later. He served in the Vietnam War until he received an Honorable Discharged in 1975.

Shortly after his discharge, a tragic accident occurred that left Nat permanently disabled.  Despite this,  Nat was determined to overcome his disability.  He trusted and believed that GOD will heal his body and give him the strength to walk again.  Nat walked for 30 years until he fell ill. He found peace in drawing and singing, Nat enjoyed life to the fullest.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Vera; two daughters; Eboni Dorth and LaShunta Stallings;  four grandchildren; three sisters, Phyllis Darby, Christina E. Stallings, Katrina E. (Monte) Henderson;  five brothers, Robert (Helen), Charles Jr.(Delle), Ricky, Randolph, Reginald (Sysha) Stallings; stepmother, Gelette McCall-Stallings; one stepbrother, Daymion McCall, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
