Glenda McCall Obituary Minister Glenda Ette McCall, a devoted servant of God, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland. Born on April 11, 1958, in Kilmichael, Mississippi, she was the cherished daughter of the late Dannie Lee and Henry Witty, Sr. At the age of 20, Glenda professed her faith in Jesus Christ—a decision that would define and guide her life. Her passion for evangelism and teaching the Christian faith burned brightly within her. The Word of God was truly a fire in her bones, and she shared it joyfully with everyone she encountered. On December 6, 1978, Glenda was united in holy matrimony to her beloved, Jerome McCall Sr. Together, they walked in unity both in life and ministry, faithfully teaching and living out God’s Word as one. Glenda was a loving and devoted wife, a pillar of strength, and a nurturing mother. She poured her love, wisdom, and unwavering faith into the lives of her three children: Joshua, Rhonetta, and Jerome Jr. She was also a dedicated professional, serving faithfully at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for an incredible 37 years and 8 months. Her diligence, integrity, and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of working with her. Minister Glenda McCall's legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to inspire all who knew her. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Dannie Lee Witty, and her sister, Charanita Witty. Precious memories live on in the hearts of her devoted husband, Elder Jerome McCall Sr., her three loving children, Joshua Witty (Smyrna, GA), Rhonetta Johnson (Robinsonville, MS), Jerome McCall Jr. (Largo, MD); grandchildren: Ciara Cocker, Joshua L. Witty, Cayla Witty, Joshlyn Witty, Aundre Witty, Vintesha Thompson, Carlysha Witty, Jaylenn McCall; Jayla McCall, Joi Brown and Kharson McCall; siblings: Deloris Witty, Andrew Witty, Jerome (Lillie) Witty (all of Kilmichael, MS); Brenda Witty (Memphis, TN); Sharon and Shannon Witty (both of Ridgeland, MS); brother-in-law, sister-in-laws, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
